Fox River Trolley - Part 5 - Geneva

In this multi-part series, we investigate the now abandoned Elgin, Aurora, and Southern Traction railway, later the Aurora, Elgin, and Fox River Electric Railroad, situated along the Fox River, in Kane and Kendall Counties, Illinois. We tell the history of this railway and follow its path through more than a dozen communities, from Carpentersville to Yorkville.

In this video (#88), the 5th in the series, we journey through Geneva, the Kane County seat, to examine its extraordinary and tortuous relationship with the Fox River Trolley system, and also a little bit of the Geneva Spur of the Aurora Elgin & Chicago Interurban.
