ശൂന്യമായ ശവകുടീരം കഷ്ടപ്പാടുകളുടെയും മരണത്തിൻ്റെയും നടുവിലുള്ള ജീവിതത്തിൻ്റെ അടയാളമാണ്. യേശുവിൻ്റെ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തോടെ മരണം കീഴടക്കപ്പെടുന്നു എന്ന സന്ദേശം വ്യക്തമാണ്. ഇന്ന് ലോകത്ത് അർത്ഥശൂന്യവും അനാവശ്യവുമായ മരണങ്ങളുടെ വേദന നാം അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി മരിച്ച കഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന ദാസൻ നമ്മോടൊപ്പം കഷ്ടപ്പെടുക മാത്രമല്ല, വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവർക്കും ജീവൻ നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നുവെന്ന് ഓർമ്മിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. യേശു പറഞ്ഞു, “ഞാൻ പുനരുത്ഥാനവും ജീവനും ആകുന്നു. എന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവർ, അവർ മരിച്ചാലും ജീവിക്കും, ജീവിക്കുകയും എന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന എല്ലാവരും ഒരിക്കലും മരിക്കുകയില്ല” (യോഹന്നാൻ 11:25).
The empty tomb is a sign of LIFE in suffering and death. The message is clear that with the resurrection of Jesus death is conquered. While we face the anguish of senseless and unnecessary deaths in the world today, we are reminded that the suffering servant who died on our behalf not only suffers with us but also brings life to all who believe. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die” (John 11:25).
