Our 2024 gala, and your support, are more important than ever. We have moved the needle on Rett syndrome research in a big way. A few years ago, gene therapy as a potential treatment for Rett was in nascent stages. Today we have clinical trials underway and preliminary observations are promising. But to reach a cure, it’s imperative that multiple genetic medicines, beyond the current gene therapies, be aggressively pursued. That’s why the Rett Syndrome Research Trust (RSRT) has just launched a new $40 million initiative, Roadmap to Cures, with a goal to drive three more genetic approaches to clinical trials.
