Elena lives a lonely existence, struggling to come to terms with the death her love, Damon, in an illness. One day, while visiting his grave at the cemetery, she encounters Dean, who's there to pay his respects to his mother, but she's too depressed to make conversation. A few days later, they meet again at a carnival in the town square. Dean introduces himself, and Elena, in a better mood, reciprocates. They start a friendship that turns into more as she begins to rediscover herself with his support, but she's yet unable to let go of Damon and the memories of their life together. Finally, frustrated with her constant barriers to building a relationship with him, Dean breaks up with her. Then it's up to Elena to decide... to hold on to the past and a love lost forever, or move to a future with a different, but also true, love.

This video was difficult to make - it uses clips from 25 episodes of TVD, SPN and Smallville, and making a coloured crossover video meant a ton of colour
corrections from eppy to eppy, which made Vegas cranky as hell - so I'm sorry in advance about the pixellations and jumps in editing :D The story itself was emotionally difficult, because the process of letting go of someone you love is never easy. But I love the song, I love Delena and I adore Dealena, so I hope the effort was worth it!
