Downtown Daytona Beach is home to Jackie Robinson Memorial Ballpark. A setting rich in baseball and civil rights history as the exact location at which Jackie Robinson broke professional baseball’s color barrier in March of 1946. Home to the Daytona Tortugas for the last decade, baseball has been played on City Island for more than a century.
On this episode of Crest of the Wave, we sit down with Tortugas Team President and General Manager Jim Jaworski.
