(DAY 1 Livestream) ASEAN TECHNOLOGY COOPERATION & DEVELOPMENT SUMMIT 2025

The ASEAN Technology Cooperation & Development Summit 2025 (ATCDS 2025) is a flagship event under Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2025, convening global leaders to shape the future of science, technology, and innovation across the region. Guided by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and co-hosted with UNESCO, the UN Diplomatic Council, SIEF, MRANTI, and NCT Group, the Summit underscores ASEAN’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation and advancing a forward-looking regional innovation ecosystem.
The Opening Ceremony will be officiated by the Guest of Honour, YAB Dato’ Seri Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. The Leadership Gala Dinner will be graced by His Royal Highness Tengku Amir Shah, Crown Prince of Selangor, as the Royal Guest of Honour. Their participation reflects the national and regional importance of the Summit and reinforces Malaysia’s leadership in driving technology-enabled development across ASEAN.
ATCDS 2025 will bring together ministers, senior government officials, global scientific leaders, venture capital investors, and industry pioneers from more than 13 countries, including ASEAN Member States, China, Canada, Japan, Australia, and the Middle East. Distinguished participants include representatives from UNESCO, OIC-COMSTECH, MRANTI, leading academic institutions, and over 50 international investors who will engage in innovation forums and evaluate selected startup pitches.
Key discussions throughout the programme will cover AI and deep technology, future mobility, digital healthcare, emergency response systems, the bioeconomy, education and talent transformation, and the emerging halal digital economy. Through collaboration with iFlytek, the Summit will produce an AI-generated knowledge archive and a post-event White Paper, which will be published in an internationally indexed academic journal.
