A short movie I created when I was 14 years old. The script is based by the text of "damaged neighborhoods" by the writer K. Harpantidis.
The city outlined is Kavala (Macedonia-Greece), as preserved on the one hand by the memories of the narrator's childhood and on the other hand the historical memory, elements of which the author uses. From the 1970s to the present day, Kavala was transformed into a modern city, presenting all aspects and problems of a modern big city (apartment buildings, urban habits, lack of green spaces and free play areas for children).
The author brings to his memory his childhood, when his mind was only in the game.
He remembers the school excursions to the fortress and the evenings that the children were running behind the dogs and were listening to terrible stories by the older ones.
But all these memories are gone, as today the city leaves no room for huts and parks.
