This isn’t just a step-by-step tutorial. It’s also a PSA: don’t cheap out on your air filters.

I initially installed a low-cost Amazon filter, and while it removed the old odor, it replaced it with a toxic, chemical smell that was even worse. Turns out the glue/materials used were unbearable.

I ended up switching to OEM Hengst filters from ECS Tuning, and instantly the air smelled fresh again — no chemicals, no weird smells, no regrets.
