Welcome to my new series for the Line 6 Helix called "Helix Heavies" - dedicated to the tones that inspired and still continue to inspire me to play! We'll cover a BROAD range of heavy tones from Classic Hard Rock/Metal to Power/Death/Thrash/Black Metal and all points in between.
In this first episode we look at a tone inspired by Mick Mars of Mötley Crüe on the "Too Fast for Love" album.

For the vid I recorded directly from the Helix Rack into my Focusrite Clarett 8Pre, I mainly used my Gibson Les Paul Trad Pro loaded with Balaguer Evergreen humbuckers. For the full mix clip I also used my Zeegler Custom Flying V loaded with a Duncan JB/59 set.
