Matt has been having pain in the inner portion of his elbow for about 5 months from playing baseball. His pain is at about a level 6 and it makes it difficult for him to straighten his elbow and throw, which are important motions to be able to do when playing baseball. He has not had any prior treatment for his injury. When he came into ASTR, his pain was at about a level 4 or 5 and his wrists were extremely tight. As Dr. Jacobs works on Matt’s upper and lower arm with the ASTR tool, red spots begin to appear, indicating the presence of scar tissue. After just a few minutes of ASTR treatment, Matt’s pain is essentially gone, and his range of motion in his elbow is much greater. Matt is very happy with the treatment and is excited to get back on the field, pain free.
