Adare castle | Augustinian Friary | Adare manor, County Limerick, Ireland - 4K DJI mini 2 Drone

Cinematic 4K DJI Mini 2 Drone footage of several sights near the town of Adare in County Limerick, Ireland. Starring in this video are Adare castle, Adare Augustian Friary and Adare manor. Adare Castle, also called Desmond Castle Adare, is a medieval fortified castle strategically situated on the banks of the River Maigue. Adare castle and its ring fort were built in the 13th century. In the 17th century Adare castle was largely ruined and in recent years restoration efforts have tried to recall its former glory. Opposing the castle, on the other side of the River Maigue, there is the Augustian Friary. Also called the Black Abbey, the Augustian Friary was founded in the 14th century and served its purpose for over 200 years. Finally, Adare Manor is historic gothic masterpiece that serves as a 5 star hotel. Besides luxuary accommodation, Adare Manor offers dining, golf, spa, and other activities.
