The Quakers Luton & Leighton Area Meeting decided to hold a webinar with Dr Stefanie Green, President of the Canadian Association for Assisted Dying Assessors and Practitioners. Our focus was on the approach doctors may take with patients who might be considering an assisted death, which is not something British doctors are able to give us. Dr Green explained her role and engagement with her patients: asking questions, listening and discussion, going through all the options available for them to consider and making sure that any requests were their own. This view into how a doctor works with patients who are near their life’s end, was insightful and instructive.”
