3:21 Mount Fuji looked beautiful today, even though it doesn't really come across on camera
wind was very gusty at the beginning and then picked up, so I had to retreat to the beach in the end
camera battery died before I did, but probably only by a couple of minutes
boom was too low, or harness lines too long, for comfortable hooking in
I fell on most tacks and jibes
uphauling on the small (by my standards) board still requires concentration for balance in this swell
tried to waterstart - I haven't learned it yet, and when I tried, the wind apparently wasn't sufficient
the life jacket got tangled with my helmet on most falls; untangling it was cumbersome
