A high‑level team from the Polavaram Project Authority (PPA), led by CEO Yogesh Paitankar, visited the Polavaram project site to review ongoing progress. The delegation inspected important structures such as the diaphragm wall and the Gap‑1 and Gap‑2 work fronts, checking construction quality and activities.
Senior officials from the Water Resources Department and MEIL Group joined the visit, explaining technical details and timelines. Key participants including Engineer‑in‑Chief Narasimhamurthy, Member‑Secretary M. Raghuram, and Chief Engineers provided a full project status review.
