This Outlander is getting some upgrades to get it ready for the swamp, and part of that is beefing up the drivetrain. Today, we’re replacing the OEM axles with a set of Demon axles for this Outlander. Now, if you're replacing with Can-Am Outlander OEM axles, the process is the same.

But a quick note on these Demon axles: they’re corner specific, so you’ll order four different part numbers for this unit. Check below in our list of parts for more info.

We’re starting on the right front, and we’ll walk you through breaking down the suspension system so that we can remove the old axle. Once we pull it, it’s a good idea to replace the oil seals around the axles, so we’ll knock that out. Then, it’s time to install the new Demon axle and get the suspension built back up.

We’ll follow the same basic process on the right rear, except with a detour. We discovered the wheel bearing was shot, so we are going to replace it before we get the new axle in place and then build the suspension back up again.

On the left side, the process will be just a mirror image of the right.
