Today's workout features 8 fun and efficient crossing the midline exercises to improve kids' gross motor skills.
The midline is an imaginary line in the center of the body that divides it into left and right. Crossing the body's midline is the ability to reach across the middle of the body with the arms and legs, which allows the little ones to cross over their bodies to perform a task on the opposite side. It's an important developmental skill, needed for many tasks like writing, jumping, catching a ball, and putting on shoes or socks with both hands. With these exercises, kids will be able to use both sides of the brain, working body and mind together and keeping them always healthy!!
