TRANSCRIPT
At the College of Central Florida, our students excel in academics and athletics. Since the Lady Patriots Cross Country team began in 2022, they have achieved remarkable success. This past season the team placed 4th of 9 Division 2 teams in the 2024 NJCAA Half Marathon.
During the past three seasons, Coach Godwin has coached her athletes to a 100% PR rate in the NJCAA Half Marathon with 15 ladies over those three seasons all setting PRs. Those who competed in NJCAA Half Marathon twice set a new PR in their second season. Godwin has coached 36 women in the 5k with an impressive 94% setting new PRs.
Isabella Mesa earned both NJCAA DII Runner of the Week and FCSAA Runner of the Week honors during the 2024 season. The Lady Patriots have earned United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors with a stellar 3.8 team GPA. Are you next?
