Granny Square Wall Hanging Crochet Tutorial | Easy Crochet Pattern

In this full video tutorial, I’ll walk you through every step, from stitches to fringe to attaching your stick, so you’ll have a beautiful handmade crochet wall hanging pattern ready to display.

Materials You’ll Need:
🧶 Worsted-weight yarn in 4 different colors (I used Lion Brand Heartland)
🔗 5.0 mm crochet hook
✂️ Scissors
🪡 Tapestry needle
📏 Tape measure
⚡ Rotary cutter (optional, for fringe — scissors work too)
🌿 7" stick, dowel, or branch for hanging

Skill Level:
Advanced beginner. This pattern uses variations of basic stitches and assumes you already know standard crochet stitches.

Note: This video is best for those who already know how to work basic crochet stitches (single crochet, double crochet, half double, etc.). I do demonstrate each special stitch used in the pattern at least once, so you can follow along and see exactly how to work them.

Pattern Notes:
⚪ Written in English, using standard US crochet terms
⚪ Worked in the round
⚪ For Round 2, you can choose to ch 1 or ch 2 between puff stitches, depending on your tension (ch 2 may help your square lay flat). This won’t affect stitch count.
⚪ Stacked single and triple stacked single crochets always count as stitches.

📏 Gauge: Not important for this project
