Friends in this video let's make Apex FH9 MOSFET amplifier board. The MOSFETs used are IRFP240 and IRFP9240.
The recommended power supply is +/-50V DC. But below 40V will be safer. The voltage rating of the 100uF and 47uF capacitors is 63V or select according to the supply voltage.
You will get 100W output at 4 ohms and 50W at 8 ohms with 35 - 0 - 35V DC.
The biasing current as per the designer is 175mA. So set a voltage of around 35mV to 40mV across the 2x 0.47 ohm emitter resistor. You can slightly lower the voltage if you feel that the MOSFETs are over heating.
In the PCB design the signal ground and power ground are isolated. But after testing I connected the signal ground to the power ground using a 10 ohm resistor to remove humming. Updated that in the PDF.
The circuit diagram is given along with PDF files. In the circuit the MPSA42 transistor is replaced with BD139.
