I recently cracked my cheap exhaust manifold. Not being a welder, I decided to put this JB WELD Extreme Heat to the test.
Looking around for videos, much like yourself, I found mixed results with people doing it their way and people doing it by the instructions. I decided to do a mix of everything I saw that seemed to help others. I have used it in the past with great results. and it is holding to this day. if I had to do again, I would have opened it up more, scuffed the surrounding areas and let's sit for 48 hours. I'd still use the heat gun.
