GOD's day all and welcome back to my channel! I hope that you and yours are having a wonderful Wednesday!!! I apologize for my personal episode of "RE" being uploaded late, but I had to wait til my Podcast Editor, none other than my hubby, Alex got home from work, to do it for me.

Come along with me as I share a memory of my creative writing journey when I attended "Northwest Community College" in my hometown on Houston in either 1992 or 1993. The college has now been REnamed "Lone Star College", but I mistakenly said "Houston Community College". Anyway when I took a Freshman English class, the instructor asked us to show our creative abilities by writing a compare and contrast paper using "out of the box techniques and digging deep". Well I obviously dug REally deep as my short story, "The Differences Between My Identical Twin Cousins" was good enough that the instructor asked me, if she could enter it in the colleges' "Freshman Writers Contest". And if that wasn't good enough it was published in a book and was also posted on the colleges website, now over 30 years later, for future students to refer to for their own writing assignments. Thanks be to GOD!!! Can you say...FAVOR?!!!

On next week for my finale before I take my seasonal 2 week break, the interview I've done with none other than the pastor mentioned in the testimonial interview I mentioned in the header of this post, who also happens to have recently been named "The Pastor of New Orleans", none other than Pastor Fred Luter, Jr of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church/FABC. Anyway he agreed to do an interview with me and sacrificed some of his time from his very busy schedule to do an interview with lil ol me, RE! Again, can you say FAVOR?!!! His interview will be posted on next Wednesday, June 25th for your listening pleasure. We had a great time chatting, but I didn't ask him the questions that can be found by Googling his name as I did while REsearching in preparation of his interview. But I will list that info in the description, below my signature for his interview. Instead, I had my own set of brand new questions, specifically targeted at his life and being used as a servant of GOD to take care of HIS sheep. Just as he did, back when I'd had my stroke and my in-laws asked for prayer for me after giving him very brief details about my incident, and with that he prayed for me, a mere stranger at that time. Years later I would be a living miracle, who began attending his church as a visitor and then became a faithful member of FABC for 8 years in the body of Christ...proof that prayer works!!! As GOD hears the prayers of the earnest and righteous! Truly, all thank be to the GOD, we serve!!!
