This case is a dispute from Guyana in which the Appellant, The Attorney General of Guyana, appeals the Court of Appeal’s decision to enforce an award granted by an arbitration panel in favour of the Respondent, Azad Meera. This matter arose from a contractual dispute between the parties regarding infrastructural works. The Appellant challenges the constitution of the arbitration panel, highlighting the fact that one of its arbitrators failed to disclose his involvement in a previous panel, which decided against the Appellant for the same dispute. The Appellant appeals against this non-disclosure which is claimed to have led to the apparent bias of the arbitrator.
