Join me as I show you how I interpret the week 3 project from @k3n.clothtales - a patchworked piece depicting my interpretation of ‘diversity’ in stitchery.
My week 3 piece is now complete and I’ve really enjoyed the process of thinking about my interpretation of diversity in stitching and revisiting some of the varied processes I’ve used in the past and that have brought me to now. Using embroidery, cross stitch, ‘applique’ (in this instance applying a piece of fabric as a way to preserve it) and kantha, all stitched onto a patchwork of vintage fabrics - everything I love on a small stitchery to be treasured and included in my journal 🌸
