The marine composite decking market is one of the fastest growing areas in the industry. Traditionally, to build templates for the decking, installers would either hand measure or use a 2D digitizing tool to get the outlines for the decking. Now with some new large area 3D scanners, an installer can 3D scan an entire boat in a matter of minutes. This process is much faster, more accurate and eliminates measurement errors done with traditional methods. Once the 3D scanning is completed the design work can be done at their office saving time and money.

🔧 Core Capabilities
• 3D Scanning & Inspection Services
We offer non contact 3D scanning using laser, structured light, laser tracking, CMM probing, photogrammetry, low range large object and industrial CT scanning. Projects range from tiny precision parts to full scale vehicles and aircraft, on site or in our lab
• Reverse Engineering & CAD Modeling
We translate 3D scan data into point clouds, polygon meshes and full 3D CAD models in formats like STL, OBJ, STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, ParaSolid, Solidworks and more. This includes legacy part reproduction, prototype development, and custom design integration.
• Dimensional Inspection & Quality Control
Certified engineers generate inspection reports, GD&T analysis, first article inspection (FAR, PPAP, and Go/No Go documentation. Accuracy can reach ±0.015 mm depending on method and part.
• Equipment & Software Sales + Training
EMS resells and supports advanced metrology hardware such Creaform 3D scanners, Surphaser long range scanners, API laser trackers, and software suites like PolyWorks, Geomagic, and SolidWorks. Onsite and offsite training is available for both software and hardware. All of our hardware and software is manufactured in North America for your data security and integrity. This can be very important for the CMMC 2.0 and DFARS requirements. ________________________________________
