I know nothing about violins - this is not a how to or tutorial! Last year I grew a lot of gourds. I wanted to make something other than bird houses from them so I decided to make a violin! I bought the cheapest kit of parts from AliExpress and some scraps of wood and came up with this. I have a cheap bow, also from AliExpress, on the way. I need to find someone who can actually play to test it out for me. The site http://www.makingtheviolin.com/ was most helpful in working out how to do this project.
