Omg another Lydia the Bard song calling out society for its deep ingrained ignorance and lack of empathy? What a surprise

Hope you enjoy our new song! We’ve been working on this for a LONG time. It’s about the deep frustration that manifests when no matter how hard you try you can’t get through to someone. It’s about toxic relationships but also about the experience of being a person in an ignorant society just trying to have your voice heard. I got my backing singers to scream in it at the end teehee

Now - on a more serious note, this is a song / video that is inspired by my own personal life and experiences as well as the lives of the other creatives involved in this project. Luckily the experience of ‘not being heard’ or listened to is not one that put me in any danger but i understand that for some that is not the case and at worst it can actually be life threatening.

The political climate for many people is bleak at the moment and for many it will feel like we’re not being heard by those that are actually making decisions that affect our lives. I hope you can find some encourganment that you’re not alone and that your feelings are valid through this song
