I'm very happy with this sub 6 run. Chameleos is historically one of the most peculiar matchups for Hammer.
I feel like Strength is better in the matchup. I had a Courage run already, and while it dates to a while back now, I still feel like Strength would win.
Strength Hammer has overall better tools to access weakpoints that are high up, such as Chameleos' head.
I'm very excited for Risen Chameleos and I hope all this training against regular Chameleos pays off.
Chameleos is a great fight in this game with good patterns and very fair difficulty.
The only thing I dislike about it is the INSANE amount of lingering hitboxes on some of its attacks. That slap attack he rarely does when you're close to him such as at 5:44 in this video? Yeah, that lingers for all the duration of the debris that appears, one second after Chameleos finished the slap.
Same goes for the super body slam ; the debris linger, that's why you usually see me wait a little bit before punishing these two attacks.
