I never planned on being a doctor

I never planned on being a doctor. In fact, my dream was to follow in the footsteps of a singing chiropractor who inspired me growing up. But life had other plans.

From learning compassion and healing from my mom—who’s a traditional Chinese medicine doctor—to finding my path in medicine, I realized it’s all about helping people live healthier, more empowered lives.

Sometimes, the path we think we want isn’t the one that leads us to our true purpose.
