Ever since Resident Evil Requiem has been announced there has been a lot of speculation and talk about Leon being the second main character of the game based on insider info and the rumored character being armed to the teeth as well as going back to Raccoon City. Fellow RE content creator @RapidCrafter made a post talking about how Leon has been getting a lot of forced hatred because of this since the reveal to the point that he is being over hated. There is a lot of context to be had here as this situation didn't start over night so in this video, I will go over why I don't necessarily think he's being hated but has a lot of push back against this based on Capcom's history.
