"Ebb Tide" is a popular song, written in 1953 by the lyricist Carl Sigman and composer Robert Maxwell. The song's build up is to illustrate the ocean waves coming in and out to and from the shores. Earl Grant made this his signature song on the Hammond Organ in the 60's on the Ed Sullivan Show on TV. I recorded this Earl Grant hit in 1966, on my first Hammond Organ album, "Make it with Mike", for Carellen Records in Daytona Beach, Florida. Every organist played it... and it's one of those songs that made me who I am. Ebb Tide and Daytona Beach just fit together so very well, and I played there nightly. Some Wednesday musical fun, and salt air right here in your face. "Life is Good", on 4/20/2022, in the western burbs, south of the lake. 😎🌴
