We found a used 2.3L Ecoboost from a Focus RS, and it was cheap too! We bought this engine from a guy who bought it as a core from a dealership. From the outside it looked intact, so the issue must be something internal. We've been looking for one of these engines for a while. There's a lot to talk about with this engine, such as the head gasket issue and how it relates to the 2.3L Mazda L engine found the Mazdaspeed 3, 6, and CX-7.
