10 Hidden Details in The Lego Batman Trailer

Basically a new Arkham game, I'll take it.

So as of writing; the trailer for Lego Batman Legacy of The Dark Knight just dropped and I could not be more excited. So much so that I compiled 10 things I noticed after watching the trailer a million times, and I’m here to present them all to you. So here's everything I could glean from the trailer, ranging from references to gameplay elements. If you enjoy this video feel free to like and subscribe, and let’s get into it.

Starting off the trailer we see some iconic gear from Batman’s arsenal, like the Batarang and the grappling gun or the Batclaw. Interestingly enough, this gadget has a number on the side that correlates to a real life lego piece. Lego piece 24144 is the code for the basic lego gun, meaning Bruce used this as the basis for his grapple gun. I think this is such a cool detail, and it won’t be the last.

Other references can be found on the plane where it seems Batman is speaking to either a younger Alfred or Commissioner Gordon. He asks how Batman might become a symbol, and he then spills coffee on his shirt, which is conveniently in the shape of a bat. One of my favorite aspects of the lego games are how funny they are, and I’m glad that it seems like this humour will be continuing into this game.

Lego Batman is one of my beloved childhood games I played growing up, so I was so excited for this new Lego Batman trailer. I've never done a Lego Batman review, but Lego Batman Legacy of The Dark Knight might be the game that breaks that trend. The Lego Batman trailer secrets here are so numerous, that I hardly showed any of the new Lego Batman gameplay. After the Lego Batman movie game I was looking forward to a Lego Batman open world game, but it seems with this being such a great compilation of Dark Knight moments, this functions a lot like a Lego Arkham game.
