Today’s vlog is a lovely mix of festive baking and getting our guesthouse dining room ready for Christmas.
We start in the kitchen making my moist Christmas cake — and let mature in time for the festive season. Then we head over to the dining room on the guesthouse side, where I’ve been freshening things up ready for December. I show you the new placemats I’ve bought, the tablecloth mishap where I accidentally ordered the wrong one, and the replacement that arrived just in time.
I also walk you through how the tables will look this Christmas, where the tree is going this year, and the little touches that help make the guesthouse feel warm and welcoming for our guests.
