Tree of Light Memorial Service 2025 | Mortons Funeral Directors

The Tree of Light Memorial Service is Mortons Funeral Directors’ annual online service of remembrance. It brings families and communities together to honour and remember the lives of those we have loved and lost.

The service features reflections from local clergy, a civil celebrant and members of the Mortons team, alongside performances by The Salvation Army Band and a local choir. Our hope is that it offers a quiet moment of reflection, comfort and connection for all who watch.

Ahead of and following the service, we invite you to write a Memorial Star in memory of someone you love. Each message submitted is carefully handwritten by a member of the Mortons team onto a perspex star and placed lovingly on our Tree of Light at our Northfield premises.

This year, the Tree of Light Memorial Service is in support of Birmingham Mind. While there is no charge to place a Memorial Star, donations are welcome. Mortons will also be making a donation to the Salvation Army, Droitwich Corps, as a thank you for their contribution to the service.
