This Personal Statement is on the RIGHT track but still needs CLARITY | PS or BS Episode 14

Well-structured and with wonderful moments of storytelling, this essay is quick to stand out compared to the majority of other submissions to the series. But buzzwords, imposed themes, and superficial thought still hold it short of greatness.

Dr. Gray breaks down what's good and what ain't, emphasizing the importance of reflection, authenticity, and answering the bottom line question: Why do you wish to be a doctor? From evaluating clinical anecdotes to breaking down the conclusion, this review will lead premeds to edit their own essays with confidence.

Premed Tip: Don’t just state that you’ve been around medicine. Show why those moments made you want to pursue becoming a physician, and know that reflection is what sets your story apart.
