We had just 24 hours in Libreville, Gabon.
So we wasted no time.

From the wooden columns of Saint Michael’s Parish
to the national museum and its collection of traditional masks,
we started piecing together the story of the city.

We moved through local markets,
past quieter streets and some of Libreville’s more refined architecture.

And by the end of the day, we made it to the water —
the Bay of the Kings, where the city finally slows down.
