Our UGV's Incredible Test: Driving Over a TM-62 Mine Simulator!

Can a robot with no suspension drive over a training mine without it going off? We put our UNEX UGV to the ultimate test at the Defense & Security Media Day! We teamed up with Skif Tech to see if our unique ultra-low-pressure tires could handle the challenge.

The UNEX UGV is an unmanned ground vehicle with a special design: it has no suspension. Instead, it relies on its one-of-a-kind ultra-low-pressure tires to absorb shock and navigate rough terrain. After successfully driving over everything from pumpkins to crockery in past experiments, we finally had a chance to test our theory on something real: the TM-62 mine simulator.

The result was a huge success! The training mine did not detonate, proving our concept in a real-world scenario. The entire experience was captured by the team from Army TV, including renowned journalist and veteran of the War for Ukraine's Independence, Serhiy Lipko.
