In this tutorial, we’ll learn how to perform Boolean operations in Grasshopper using geometry imported from Rhino. This lesson is part of the Grasshopper Modeling for Complete Beginners series, where we explore essential tools for creating and combining 3D forms.

You’ll learn how to use BRep components to bring 3D solids from Rhino into Grasshopper, and then apply key Boolean operations:

Solid Union — to combine two or more volumes into one.

Solid Difference — to subtract one solid from another.

Solid Intersection — to extract only the volume where two solids overlap.

By understanding these operations, you’ll be able to create complex 3D geometries and refine your architectural or design models for fabrication and visualization.
