This video demonstrates how to use pencils and rubber bands to create a model of Leonardo da Vinci's self-supporting bridge, as part of a fun and easy project meant to introduce children to engineering and STEM concepts. A discussion of the bridge's history and the science behind it is also provided at the end of the video. This was created as part of a group project by engineering students at LSU.
