Yes, you're quite right , this video should have gone out before the last one I posted ........
This was actually recorded 10 days prior to the last video I posted from Longshaw - the difference in the colors was incredible , barely any autumn foliage to be seen !
It's very rare for me to go on a scouting trip , I normally just wing my trips to new locations , they either work or they don't . More often than not they will deliver something to point my camera at & if they don't well hey , that's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes .

But this time I actually wanted to get a plan together for an autumn / winter location that I hadn't spent any time at previously . Find some compositions & use my imagination to figure out what they'd look like with a fresh covering of thick snow . Whilst wandering around I was getting excited for winter , I found several promising area's & interesting trees.

At least I thought I had - all will be revealed in a future video !

Although I failed to capture anything print worthy I still had a fun trip out , fresh air , peace & quiet & a good walk .
