Hey guys! I've had the idea of making Davy Jones a few days ago as I thought he would have really interesting features to work with. I only used one type of clay, FIMO Puppen in beige, but you can use any polymer clay you like and any colour if you are going to paint it afterwards. To paint it you can use water based paints. If you'd like it as a charm, make a hole prior to baking.
I really enjoyed the process. I have to say the sculpting was by far my favourite bit...Painting it was more difficult as the skin has so many colours everywhere...I thought of doing Orlando to please the girls, but maybe as Legolas in the The Lord of the Rings?
