First and so far only taste of the "Zero Cool" side project from Thomas Dutton of Forgive Durden and Bobby Darling from Gatsbys American Dream.
"So Thomas from Forgive Durden and I came up with this idea to map out a record before writing a single piece of music. We named all the songs, decided the tempo and what key they would be in, and set up all the sessions in protools without even picking up a guitar. We laid down a whole album's worth of bass in about an hour within the set tempo/key parameters and then we started building the rest of the songs around the basslines, without altering the structures. [...] It's just art for art, we have no interest whatsoever in doing anything more than finishing the songs one by one and posting them up for download."
