Two weeks after finishing a marathon, we decided to do something wild…
We signed up for a 54km ultramarathon with 4000m elevation — and only gave ourselves 6 weeks to train.
This week we start slow:
✅ First trail runs back
✅ Hill repeat workout
✅ Strength + mobility
✅ Long run on tired marathon legs
✅ Learning to run uphill again 😅
This series will follow every week — the highs, the lows, and the big mountain finish on race day.
📍Race day: August 9
🎯 Goal: Finish under 12 hours
👟 Terrain: Mountain trails, steep climbs, technical descents
