The Amalfi Coast feels like a place that was designed to make you slow down and stare.

The cathedral is a striking blend of Arab-Norman, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architectural styles, reflecting Amalfi’s long history as a powerful maritime republic. Its façade is especially distinctive, featuring striped stonework, elegant arches, and a richly decorated mosaic tympanum depicting Christ enthroned, added in the 19th century.
