🕊️ Prayer for the One Who Says “Yes” to the Word

Holy Father,
Lord of Light and Lord of every shadow,
God of the broken and the becoming—
we lift up Your beloved who has heard these words
and felt them strike the deep places.

Father,
You alone know the struggle behind their silence.
You alone know the battles they never named.
You alone know the weight of the darkness
they have carried for far too long.

Tonight,
in the name of Jesus Christ,
we ask that You meet them
in the very place they fear most—
and reveal that You were there first.

Lord, let Your Spirit move now:
softly where they are tender,
powerfully where they are bound,
faithfully where they feel forgotten.

Let the shadow within them
no longer accuse them
but testify of everything
You have already redeemed.

Where fear rises,
breathe courage.
Where shame hides,
speak identity.
Where pain remembers,
lay Your nail-scarred hand
and make all things new.

Father, bring the two into one.
Unite the fractured pieces,
the light they show
and the dark they hide,
until they stand whole—
not by their strength,
but by Yours alone.

Let them know,
deep in marrow and memory,
that nothing in them is too broken,
too lost,
too tangled
for the Christ who makes all things whole.

Pour Your love into them
until it pushes out every lie.
Pour Your truth into them
until fear has no throne left.
Pour Your life into them
until they rise—
fully, freely, joyfully—
as the one You always intended them to be.

And may they walk forward
from this moment
not as a divided soul,
but as a beloved child
who carries both dawn and night
under the wings of the Almighty.

In Jesus Christ’s holy name—
the Light that no darkness can overcome—
we bless them,
we release them,
and we entrust them to Your keeping.
