While on a guided snorkel trip from the Waianae Harbor, we were taken to the Turtle Cleaning Station just off of the shores of Makaha. Once there we found a beautiful sea turtle just hanging in the water, with little to no movement, only to found out that its neck and front flippers were tangled in fishing line.
This video shows the effects of humans on the ocean, and highlights why it is so important to pick up your trash and never throw anything overboard when you are at sea.
