Vancouver Whitecaps FC advanced to the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup Final after a 3-1 win, 5-1 on aggregate, against Inter Miami CF in the second leg of their semifinal series on Wednesday at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.

Jordi Alba opened the scoring in the 9’ with a left-footed strike from the left side of the box. Luis Suarez supplied the assist after a long ball from Lionel Messi in midfield.

Brian White tied the encounter in the 51’, connecting in the box off a pass from Sebastian Berhalter. The goal marked a fifth for White in the campaign and restored a two-goal lead for Vancouver in the aggregate.

Pedro Vite struck from the top of the box to give the visitors a 2-1 lead in the 53’, and 4-1 on aggregate. Berhalter collected his second assist of the night in the process.

Sebastian Berhalter added a third for Whitecaps FC in the 71’ to make it a four-goal lead on aggregate and make a comeback an insurmountable task for the hosts.

After winning the first leg, 2-nil, last Thursday at BC Place in Canada, Whitecaps FC extended its lead to a 5-1 win on aggregate. White and Berhalter scored in consecutive encounters.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC await the winner of Cruz Azul and Tigres UANL, a series that will be decided on Thursday, in the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup Final.
