The Heart of Route 66 Museum is a great collection of cars, trucks, parts and memorabilia, located in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Despite its small size, the collection has lots of great items...I was fortunate enough to visit it during the 2021 Great Race, as the museum hosted our lunch stop on Day 3 of the event. With that in mind, I only had a few minutes to tour the place but I wanted to pass along my experience and encourage you to check out this museum if you're in the area. Route 66 is iconic and there are lots of places to visit if you're doing a tour of the Mother Road, but be sure to mark this place down on your list!
