Yup! I ate rat meat.

This is Hopkins - the friendliest village in all of Belize and the cultural epicenter of the Garifuna people. Those are not just my thoughts, this has been proclaimed in several magazines already.

We're going to roam around town, indulge in some local delicacies like snapper prepared in coconut milk (Bundiga) or eat some grilled jungle rat (Gibnut); aka the Royal Rat only since Queen Elizabeth had it too.

Learned a few more things about herbs at a chocolate farm on the way to Hopkins.

Some encounters at the nearby barrier reef with Belize Underwater, planned and unplanned performances and some of the warmest people with warmest smiles on the planet. Let's go!
