Exploring around a Gold mine and well preserved battery site dating to the early 1900's.
This is a site that had quartz crushing going on via a ten head stamper, shaker tables with mercury amalgam and cyanide vats all to recover the gold taken out of the shaft and adits just up the hill from the battery.
It would appear that the cyanide vats where below the main battery site near the higher of two dams, the bottom one was for collecting the sand and slimes.
While this is public land its a hard one to find and is in really good shape for a site of it's type, hopefully everyone who finds it looks after the site and leaves it in the same condition they found it in.
